Ignore the "year"
by: Gerald

Don't try to pin down the "year" of your Trail 90 if it's older than 1976. They got titled when sold so you could have a 1970 K0 because it sat on a back lot for a couple of years.

Even the parts fiches refer to the variations by the model designator. Look up your serial number in the table and determine if you have a K[0|1|2|3|4|5|6] then forever refer to it that way without mentioning the "year" at all.

1966 to 1968
by: WM

Kippy - Honda Serial numbers for the first 3 years of CT90 production all started with "CT90 1..." so your bike could have been produced for either 1966, 1967 or 1968.

For the 1969 model year the serial #s started at CT90 200001.
