79 Honda GoldWing Point Gap

What is the points gap specification? {Darrell D., OR 1979 Honda Goldwing GL1000}

Answer:

The 1975 through 1979 Honda GL1000 Gold Wing models all have shaft drive and the same 999cc engine. The proper contact points gap setting is 0.3 - 0.4mm or .012 - .016" (thousandths of an inch).
