Deauville Tire Pressure

Question:

What pressure do I need in the tyres. I cannot find any information on this. Thanks. { Graham, Lincs, UK - 2003 Honda 650 Deauville}

Answer:

I have not been able to find as much information about the Deauville as I would have expected to. This is a popular bike.

What I did find is that the OEM tire sizes are as follows Front 120/70 - 17, Rear 150/70 – 17. Mbike.com lists the tire pressure as 0.14 PSI for both the front and rear which is ridiculously low and may be listed in the improper scale.

You may also see pressures listed as bar {European style} or in kPa (KiloPascals). Click here for a pressure conversion calculator.

Each tire manufacturer has their own recommendations for the pressurization of their tires. It will be molded into the side wall of the tire.

The pressure listed in a Deauville owner’s manual is for the OE tires that were on the bike when it shipped from the factory. If you have replaced the tires with a different brand, I recommend inflating to that manufacturer’s recommended pressure.
